Beginning April 22, 2010, paid contractors, maintenance workers, painters and others performing renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in housing and other child occupied facilities built before 1978 MUST be certified.

 

Civil penalties, of up to $37,500 for each violation, may be assessed if you are not certified or have not made plans to become certified. It's not too late! Attend this class to receive your 5 year certification and be compliant with this new regulation.
